March signals the start of spring, and while it seems Northern Michigan hasn't quite caught on yet, we're excited for everything the season has to offer!

Personally, I find it hard to stay away from the garden. Once the flower pots are planted, I spend much of the day caring for them, "deadheading," filling the hummingbird feeders, and ensuring our small backyard haven is perfectly arranged for pollinators. What's your favorite part of spring? Here in Traverse City, there's so much happening: bird migration (currently underway!), Cherry Blossom Time, flower planting, bird nesting, and bats emerging from hibernation. May brings a burst of life! We look forward to all that spring has to offer...there's even a bird that returns each year to nest right outside my front door, marking the beginning of spring at our home. ( She hasn't showed up yet...)

With spring on our minds, we would love for you to come see the current exhibit at @artonunion "Buzz & Bloom"; highlighting our beautiful Northern Michigan spring pollinators that help our fruit grow & flowers bloom, and so much more! Our talented local artists have been inspired and in turn, are sharing with you these amazing works of art! A must see exhibit, runs through May 30th! See you soon, at Art on Union.
