Savanah Conrad is a ceramic and pottery instructor residing in Ann Arbor, MI. The focus of her work is on the interaction between form and tectured patterns. Her patterns are a coalescence of soft rounded slip, trailing and angular straight carved lines. These angled zigzag shapes interact with slip, trailed dots and plant inspired organic shapes, to form unique tactile designs.
With a degree in Science, she is interested in ceramics as an intersection of art science where in raw materials are transformed into functional pieces of art. She hopes you enjoy her creations, and is excited to continue iterating on her designs and formulating new glazes for your future enjoyment!
