Jill Wagner

When Jill Wagner retired from running her own advertising firm, she dedicated spending her time in her studio, building her career as an artist. In 2012, she saw her first plein air festival, and fell in love. She splits her time between oil, and pastels. Enjoying both. Taking her artwork outside the studio, is what most helped Wagner improve her skills! She says when she is painting she takes a short walk. She feels it is more about light, than actual landscape or water scene. Wagner considers herself a lucky Michigander with plenty of inspiration right here at her home state!
